I have lived in West Frankfort since my parents moved here when I was in the 4th grade.  I attended Lincoln Grade School and graduated from Frankfort Community High School in 1978.

In 1988 I met and married Bob Gerth.  We moved away from the area for several years.  During that time, we had two sons Thomas and Joseph.

In the fall of 2004, we moved back to West Frankfort, and our family joined FBC in January of 2005. When Marcella Romack retired, I was asked to fill her position in the church office. I began working as a secretary at FBC in June of 2011.

Our family has expanded, and we now have three grandchildren—Michael, Eliana and Archer who keep us young.  Of course, I can’t leave out Clara the Wonder Dog.  She joined our family two years ago.

During the time I have been at FBC, I have taught Sunday school, led Bible studies and worked in the children’s programs.  It has been my pleasure through the years to watch the children of FBC grow and mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
